The N is Going Back To Caltrain! For Real!

Well it’s looking like all the rumors are true the N is going to go all the way to the Caltrain station once again. I’d been hearing about this for a few days but waited until I heard some Official MUNI Notice about said so.
Pardon me for not celebrating just yet. Until we see all these “fixes” implemented and see how it goes, I’m not going to get fooled like I did before when they told us how great things were gonna be by not going all the way to Caltrain. Let’s see what happens!
In the meantime, what are they going to do about all those signs?

  1. Jeff says:

    Thank god.

  2. N says:

I just hope that they restate the 15; no other bus goes to the same part of North Beach as that one did. Plus, I understand that it was more convenient for people who lived in Bayview to get to downtown and City College without having to walk miles out of their way.
But – knowing MUNI as we do — I’m not optimistic.

Ohhhhh this confirmation is good news!
    More Ns!
    More Tequila Time!
Maybe I’ll actually get to work by 8:30 once in a while …
Wait a minute – that also means more Giants fans – eeek! Prepare for a crowded rush hour outbound commute on 8/23.

  4. Nick says:

This actually may reduce crowding because both the T and the N will be running to the Ballpark.

  5. Mike says:

I’m so glad the CalTrain users are happy
about the N going to the train station and
the ballpark again, but sure enough-
we in the Outer Sunset are already getting
kicked off at 19th Avenue and (once again, this one makes NO sense) Sunset.
Even during the middle of the day, they
are turning trains around at Sunset (2-3
in a row, no less-I’ve watched it happen)
to send them to the ballpark.
I don’t think they’re even sending ALL the N’s past Embarcadero, or just
some of them or what the hell
they’re doing (neither do they, obviously). ALL I DO KNOW IS IT TOOK
ME OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET TO WORK ON MONDAY, WHICH
WORKS OUT TO LESS THAN 5 MI/HR.
And how to complain to your district supervisor when he lives in
    Burlingame?!
